Woody Biggs, the genus behind Paris Prints, lives part of the year in a small village in France called Brion in the Loire Valley just west of Paris. French prints have always been his passion. He feels they are a remarkable history of a visual culture of art and the love of beauty that has always been a part of France.

Each piece is hand selected and purchased by Woody in outdoor markets, from the attics of country homes, fine print shops, private Paris apartments and even from a caravan of gypsies!

"Ephemera" has recently captured his imagination. It is anything printed or written on paper meant to last a short time. Old letters, shipping receipts, legal documents and most especially menus from French restaurants dating back to the 19 th Century are all examples of the types of ephemera Woody seeks out for his collection.

Woody says, "If one of my prints gives you joy, then the art of France continues to live."
